JIM LOCKINGTON, MBA
Jim Lockington is a principal and founding partner of Mobility Partners. Jim was President Royal LePage Relocation Services Limited (RLRS). For twenty years, Jim oversaw RLRS’s growth to become Canada’s leading full-service employee relocation provider, and one of the top 10 relocation companies in North America. Through competitor acquisition , and a focused sales strategy, RLRS achieved a seventy-five percent share of the Canadian employee relocation services market, obtaining long-term service contracts with many of Canada’s largest corporate and government employers. RLRS participated in the relocation of more than twenty thousand families annually.
Jim’s other accomplishments for the Royal LePage group of companies include: developing and managing the original franchising initiative at Royal LePage Residential Real Estate, and overseeing Royal LePage’s new home sales division.
As President of RLRS Jim has worked with many of Canada’s leading corporations and governments to develop innovative solutions to the cost and human impediments to effective employee mobility.
Jim continues to participate actively in organized relocation and real estate in both Canada and the United States. Jim was a founding member and was twice elected to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Employee Relocation Council. Jim has been a member of the ERC Industry Advisory Council (Washington DC based international relocation professional association).
ROSS CANNATA
Ross Cannata is a principal and founding partner of Mobility Partners. His experience spans more than 25 years in various segments of the industry. Ross was one of the founders and President of All-Purpose Realty Services (APR), one of Canada’s leading residential real estate referral services and a provider of a full-service employee relocation package. The company specializes in developing loyalty and affinity programs for real estate services.
Ross spent 14 years in various senior management positions at Tippet-Richardson, one of Canada’s leading household goods moving and storage companies and a member of Allied Van Lines. Ross held positions as Vice President Marketing and Sales for the company and General Manager of the Household Moving Business Unit, which specialized in servicing corporate clients. Ross also held responsibility for branch locations in Ontario. He also served on various committees at Allied Van Lines, dealing with pricing and quality service issues.
